The early days of spring were very busy at RCE. In the first week of March, we had our traditional spring market where people from the community could see items made by our Sunshine School students.
Soon after, our Mother’s Day celebration brought all the classes from the school together to organize a day full of special activities for the students and their mothers.
We also had special guests from the US, Marti Carroll (a board member and physical therapist) and Becca Adams (her colleague) came to assist physical therapists working with RCE’s children. During their visit, they we’re invited to present in Arad at Vasile Goldis University in their School of Physical Therapy.
Our counseling and placement departments organized a training session for adoptive and placement parents. The topic was about trauma and its effect on children’s behavior.
In the last days of March, some of the kids from the Darius Houses and Amy’s House were part of Outdoor Lab, an adventure program for children. Afterward they had lunch out at McDonald’s!
